Huge Thanks and Hugs for all the volunteers who came out and helped. We spent 5 hours cleaning up tree pits and mulching the trees along Washington Ave.
Talk about moving a mulch mountain!

The Prospect Heights Street Tree Task Force (PHSTTF) will partner with the Washington Avenue Prospect Heights Association (WAPHA) on May 22nd to beautify Washington Avenue.
The joint effort, using a $1,000 grant from the Citizens Committee for New York City and with assistance from the New York City Departments of Transportation, Sanitation and Parks, will accomplish the following: new bike racks, new trees, street litter removal, new litter baskets, trees pruned, flowers planted, tree beds aerated and mulched.
Everyone’s help is needed to make this annual event a success. If you can just spare an hour please join your neighbors and help make Washington Avenue the finest commercial street in the neighborhood.
